Our Story

Nearly 13 years ago, we found ourselves facing the overwhelming task of finding the right living situation for Susan’s ailing father. With literally hundreds of senior communities in Los Angeles to choose from, and a lack of proper guidance to find the appropriate options, it left us confused and unsure about making a decision.

We are Susan and Ron Passaro, and we know firsthand the emotional distress individuals and families go through when faced with the prospect of finding the right elder care facility.

This lack of support led us to start our placement agency — to help others who may find themselves in the same situation and to become the local experts on senior living options in Los Angeles and Ventura County.

We take very seriously the responsibility of working with individuals and families when they engage with us and begin their journey. At the core of The Passaro Group is our commitment to the idea that each situation is unique and requires a specialized approach. We look at the whole picture and use our proven process to provide the best possible options for seniors and their families.

Prior to creating the Passaro Group in 2011, Ron worked 20 years in medical sales in the Southern California hospital marketplace before changing course to assist seniors and their families. With her background in Interior Design, Susan spent 20 years designing spaces for residential, commercial, and hospitality clients.

Susan is from Los Angeles and Ron is originally from Brooklyn, NY and they currently live in West Los Angeles.
